About Sears Point Ranch

SLT's acquisition of this 2,327-acre property in 2005 was the first step in protecting and restoring this scenic property located on the edge of San Pablo Bay between the mouth of the Petaluma River and Tolay Creek. The vision for this restoration is to restore tidal, seasonal, and riparian wetlands, streams, and upland habitats for a wide range of native plants and animals, to protect open space, and to develop public access and educational opportunities, including the new extension to the San Francisco Bay Trail.
